There has been some discussion as to whether angels are the
first ones, or the progenitors of the first ones. It is doubtful
that the fallen angels are those who remain because they are confined, and the angels who are in our universe are unconfined. It
may be folly to think that these first ones, and other different
substance beings, are not descendants of the angels who chose to go
against God; who created them. There was sufficient time from
their Sin to when God confined the disobedient angels into their
dungeon, for them to spawn. Once the fallen angels started having
offspring, disobedience upon defiance degeneratively recursed until
evil took the most horrible, hideous form.
A
third and equally plausible theory about the beginnings of
the first ones are that they were brought forth from the energy of
the universe. Energy was available to be the basis of intelligent
and supernatural beings long before matter of sufficient atomic
weights for corporeal life was formed. This difference in duration
explains how the first ones came to be billions of years old.
Of course, the thought of the fallen angels spawning the first
ones does not answer `with whom or what did they seed after their
kind? Did they seed, or were they the cosmological succubi? Did
energy beings pollinate fallen angels? They could have late in day
two or early in day three. The fallen angels, spreading their sin,
could be chaos and thus happening during the evening, early in day
three.
Such beings would bring disaster within the cosmos. As descendants of fallen angels, they must be confined. Perhaps they are
limited to the domain of Thirdspace. If they ever break into normal space, within this galaxy, the inhabitants may long for the
simple days of Shadow Wars, where the side of light has a chance of
winning. So, this rules out the first ones being descendants of
fallen angels.
Either way, the first ones are intelligent, powerful, and very
old. Therefore, the most probable explanation for the beginnings
of the first ones are as energy beings having been brought forth by
the Intelligent Designer's influence upon the normal processes He
ordained. As sapient beings with wills of their own, they are capable of as much good or evil as pleases themselves. It is their
own desires that aligns them with forces of light or forces of
dark, order versus chaos.
Their essence and substance is much different than the younger
races. They have more force than beings of flesh and blood that
were brought forth on other planets during later days, as well as
the life on Earth. Many of these old, supernatural beings could
have became bored with it all, and went to the other side of their
cell, toward what the younger races know as "the rim."
Rarely do the evil ones take on such a repulsive form, especially initially. It starts with a subtle lie, or a lie wrapped around a truth. Once snared, its victims begin a downward spiral
from inequity to depravity, and then evil upon evil until judgement
or redemption. When evil gets to a certain definition, there be
demons. They may be the same substances has some of the first
ones.
The eldest of the first ones is Lorien. He watched as the
universal processes operating on other energy based beings brought
forth those races of the first ones. They came into being, lived,
and went beyond the rim within their time. Two types of these
first ones have not retired with the others. This does not mean
that some of those who have went beyond the rim do not visit the
galaxy from time to time as it suits them. These two races of the
first ones are known as the Shadows and the Vorlons.
There was nothing remarkable about this racial pair of supernatural beings during their beginnings, and even through perhaps
another Day or so. Still, they began alike the other first ones,
so they are billions of years old.
Finally, out of the disorder that began day two, came a new
order:
``...He named the dome "Sky." Evening passed and morning
came.that was...'' ...day two. [Gen.1:8]
By the end of day two, there are solar disks with suns and planets
within galaxies. There are also intelligent, non-corporeal beings
living in the universe, and within this galaxy. The hydrogen and
debris of interstellar space has been accreted to form the star
known as Sol, with the heavy atoms and molecules forming its
planets. Its gas giants are merely massive enough to attract a
thick, deep atmosphere.
A later discussion about day four describes the heavens as
`appearing.' The critical word is `appear.' The heavens formed
during day two, but Sol 3's atmosphere did not clear to transparent
before day four. Although the scope of the day four's descriptive
passage is assumed to be limited to Sol 3, that effect and process
could be galactic; or even universal.
If day one's diary had a universal scope, day two's is reduced
to galactic. Day two ends with the evening-first and morning-second sequence repeated. There was a disorder at the beginning of
the day, but at the end, there was more order. There was even more
order than the day before. Now, there are new and old solar systems throughout the Milky Way galaxy. Likely the same in other
galaxies, but that is theirs and someone elses' concern.
Twelve billion years of cosmology are fit within these first
two days of Creation. Two days forward in God's Abstract of His
Bible is the same as the first twelve billion years of cosmology
backward.
Two days and twelve billion years are the same time from
opposite perspectives. Still, there are more days of creation,
continuing with the third:
``...He named the land "Earth," and the water which had come
together he named "Sea."'' [Gen.1:10]
On Sol 3, God instituted the difference between continents and
oceans. The mechanisms initiated by the Intelligent Designer God
still continues. This process probably may not have occurred during day two on any planets of other solar systems. Why? Heavier
elements are required to form consolidated minerals; the rocks of
solid orbital bodies.
Sol 3, and similar planets of other solar systems undergoing
the same or similar processes, now have liquid water. This planet
has `mayim;' Hebrew for `liquid water.' Not steam, nor ice, but
seas. This does not mean that there were not some ice caps, glaciers, or rapid evaporation, but there were bodies of open water;
oceans.
Liquid water brings forth its own surprise:
``...So the earth produced all kinds of plants, and God was
pleased with what he saw. Evening passed and morning came.
that was the third day.'' [Gen.1:12-13]
Actually, evening and then morning of day three. The best order at
the end of day two became the disorder of day three. The new order
of day three was water and plant life being brought forth by these
laws and processes initiated at the beginning. Simple life came
soon, geologically referenced, after the formation of liquid water.
Day three was only; when compared to the duration of days one and
two, two billion years long
.
Days two and three account for another five to six billion; on
top of day one's eight billion; years of time dilation of the cosmological record. The second Day was half as long as the first;
about four billion years, and the third Day was half as long as the
second; about two billion years. The first fourteen billion years
of the cosmos is accounted by these three days.
The first ones continue to develop, certainly at different
rates and from slightly different beginning times. The Shadows and
Vorlons continued to develop. They may not have formed their ancient grudge at this time. It is possible that they have not yet
met, but not likely during the chaos before order.
Still, the story of creation continues as day four begins with
the chaos that was day three's order:
``Then God Commanded, "Let lights appear in the sky to
separate day from night and to show the time when days, years,
and religious festivals begin;'' [Gen.1:14]
The key word is `appear.' Remember! The heavens and the local
star were formed, made in day two. During day four, the terran
atmosphere clears with the O2 byproduct of plant life. The sun,
moon, and stars can now be seen.
``...He placed the lights in the sky to shine on the earth, to
rule over the day and the night, and to separate light from
darkness. And God was pleased with what he saw. Evening passed and morning came.that was the fourth day. [Gen.1:17-19]
The chaos at the beginning of day four was the translucent
atmosphere. The order at the end was an atmosphere that was so
clear that distant suns twinkled through at night. There are no
indigent intelligent beings on the Earth to see and appreciate the
universe's handiwork yet, but the stage is being set.
The fourth Day contributed half of the two billion of day
three; one billion years, for fifteen billion years. There is
three quarters of a billion years to account within days five and
six.
Once again, the previous day's order becomes the next day's
disorder. The order of day four became the chaos of day five.
Like the previous, this change is a matter of definition instead of
action.
``...He blessed them all and told the creatures that live in
the water to reproduce and to fill the sea, and he told the
birds to increase in number. Evening passed and morning
came.that was the fifth day. [Gen.1:22-23]
Day five added its half if the time contributed by day four;
half a billion years. The end of the fifth Day had seen about fifteen and a half billion years pass through the cosmos since God
started everything with a bang. The new order on Earth is abundant
sea life and birds with the plant life. Life, but no sapience on
Sol 3 yet.
It is impossible that the Shadows and Vorlons have not met by
the end of day five. Their ancient argument may be at the stage or
intensity of a gentleman's bet when order came to this day.
Evolution through order or chaos is no more hostile than an intellectual dispute because there are few sapient races to test their
contentions.
Day six saw a change in the contest between the beliefs of the
Shadows and Vorlons. The younger races were beginning. Their corporeal forms are amenable to the effects of evolution or the effects of The Intelligent Designer's laws of development or entropy.
Their argument degrades from academic to theocratic, in the way
that they lost the value aspect of the original question.
Meanwhile, this Day Six can be expected to be about a quarter
billion years long by the same function as the duration of the
previous. Remember, the length of these Days in years is in
retrospect. The new order of day five is the chaos at the beginning of day six.
``Then God commanded, "Let the earth produce all kinds of
animal life: domestic and wild, large and small".and it was
done. So God made them all, and he was pleased with what he
saw.'' [Gen.1:24-25]
God described this happening on Earth. He did not say that
this was not the only planet in the universe bringing forth many
varieties of life. Some places can have old species of sapient
life of non-corporeal or ectoplasmic substances that can be confused with beings of light. Of course, the Humans could not, or
would not, allow or believe that they were not the only beings who
have a thought. By some standards, these silly Humans are a very
young race in comparison.
``Then God said, "And now we will make human beings; they
will be like us and resemble us. They will have power over
the fish, the birds, and all animals, domestic and wild, large
and small."'' [Gen.1:26]
So, by this part of Scripture, Humans could become quite full
of themselves. They have the temerity to believe that they are at
the top of the food chain of the universe. All that has been written thus far, has happened. What is to come?
God, The Creator of the universe, wrote these things, and many
others, in His Book. Some things have come to pass, others are to
come. Since He is God, He has told of things to come. That means,
this is not history yet:
``God looked at everything he had made, and he was very
pleased. Evening passed and morning came.that was the sixth
day.
2:
``And so the whole universe was completed. By the seventh day God finished what he had been doing and stopped
working. He blessed the seventh day and set it apart as a
special day, because by that day he had completed his creation
and stopped working. And that is how the universe was
created.'' [Gen.1:31-2:4a]
Today is still within the cosmological creation's sixth Day. God
is not very pleased with His creation, as most of the remainder of
His Word tells. Therefore, we may assume by the trend, and a
previous computation remainder of a bit greater than 0.75, that
there is some time to run before the end of Day six. The new order
from the chaos of the start of day six must be realized so that the
seventh Day may begin. Still, the clock ticks.
Will about 125 million years be long enough for God to rest
from His creation? That will be only 1/8th out of 16 of billions
of years. One-to-128 rest-to-work does not seem a good deal, but
maybe it gets better for God during the next Week.
